The vertical four point welder equipment features the state-of-the-art performance functions, programmable digital controls and the high durability Insula-Dome Skylights requires for the production of its extensive line of high quality skylights.

Specifically, Insula-Dome’s Stürtz welding system reflects Stürtz’s adherence to rugged design standards to ensure that its welders offer reliable operation over a long service life. The system features solid steel base construction for long-life durability and precision drive and positioning technology for production speed, accuracy and the highest quality sash and frame member welding available. The system’s capabilities further increase Insula-Dome’s manufacturing volumes, while also affording more cost-effective use of the company’s production team members.

What makes Insula-Dome’s application of the Stürtz welders particularly innovative is its design application concept, wherein using this one piece I.G. sash manufacturing technology, the company can achieve a fully integrated frame welded around the IG unit. Insula-Dome’s skylights feature advanced welded PVC corners which provide for their superior weather tightness.
