All Insula-Dome insulated safety glass skylights and roof windows utilize Low-E coatings and are argon gas
filled for increased thermal efficiency in all climates.Energy efficient Low-E coatings help you reduce unwanted
summer heat gain and help prevent heat loss during the winter. The space between the glass is filled with
argon gas which not only adds to the energy efficiency, but reduces sound transmission as well. An additional
benefit of Low-E coating is its ability to screen the sun’s damaging ultra-violet rays which contribute to fading
of fabrics and carpeting. Bronze tinting is an available option to reduce unwanted glare.
